It delivers repeatable heat for tempering, bending, and lamination, with no guesswork. What matters under the hood We run a quartz short-wave emitter array, paired with closed-loop PID and SCR power modules. The controller reads true surface temperature through a calibrated pyrometer and adjusts output in milliseconds, holding ±1.5°C across the load. Power density is tuned for glass: fast ramp-up, minimal overshoot, and low thermal lag. The payoff is uniform heating that lowers thermal stress, trims annealing correction, and keeps optical quality consistent—especially on coated and laminated parts. Why this plays in the real world Tempering demands the kiln get to temperature fast and hold steady while glass moves through at line speed. Our control shortens heat-up, stabilizes the profile, and cuts scrap from bow, warp, and edge stress. In bending, it locks in repeatable sag profiles so the same shape comes back shift after shift. For EVA/SGP/PVB lamination, it holds the press curve without thermal shock, protecting interlayers and keeping bubbles out. Energy use drops, too—idle power stays low, and the temperature doesn’t swing wastefully. The fine points that make it work Installation is straightforward, but integration is where you win. Verify pyrometer alignment, emissivity settings, and cooling airflow. Glass coatings can throw readings off if the setup isn’t right. The controller needs stable mains voltage and a clean ground. Commissioning is short, and it pays to run operator training around your recipes. Once tuned, the system needs fewer interventions, but you still have to keep up with scheduled checks on sensors and heater connections—preventive maintenance keeps uptime where you want it.
