Why the curve matters
If you use a straight lamp on a curved piece of glass, you’re fighting physics. You end up with hot spots and cold gaps, which is a nightmare for glass bending or tube heating. We bend the quartz tubes to match the actual shape of your workpiece. This gets the heat source much closer to the glass, meaning you aren’t wasting energy heating the air around the part. Depending on how fast you need to move, we can tweak the voltage and wattage. If you’re running a high-speed line, we’ll use high-wattage shortwave lamps. They ramp up the heat almost instantly, so the glass softens exactly when and where it needs to.
The nitty-gritty of the build
We don’t just ship you a piece of glass. You get the whole package: the reflectors, the mounting brackets, and all the wiring. We also take care of the electrical load balancing. That’s a fancy way of saying we make sure you don’t fry your controllers the moment you flip the switch. One thing to keep in mind, though: when you pack this much heat into a small, curved space, things get hot. Really hot. If you’re pushing 5kW through a compact module, make sure your fans and vents can handle the heat. If they can’t, you might find your own support frames starting to warp.
